Announcing our $3,000 Enhanced Assistance Grant

An exciting new step in Adelphi’s commitment to college affordabiity.

Our new Adelphi Enhanced Assistance Grant helps students nationwide afford the personalized education offered by Adelphi. New for Fall 2018, this grant is considered gift aid so it does not have to repaid.

While New York State’s Excelsior Scholarship and Enhanced Tuition Awards have many limitations, Adelphi’s Enhanced Assistance Grant is very flexible. It is for both in-state and out-of-state students, with no residency requirements after graduation.

  • The $3,000 grant is available to assist eligible full-time undergraduate students, both new and continuing, by supplementing our already generous scholarship and grant awards. It is renewable each year as long as eligibility criteria continues to be met.
  • Students are automatically considered for the Enhanced Assistance Grant when they file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the published priority deadline using Adelphi’s federal school code 002666. No additional application is necessary.
  • Families with total family incomes between $60,000 and $125,000 will be eligible to receive this award.
  • The Adelphi Enhanced Assistance Grant is just one of many awards that are available to assist our students. Adelphi awards more than $67 million in institutional scholarships and grants each year including merit awards, talent awards, athletic awards, special subject awards, Girl Scout and Boy Scout awards and need based grants. Read more about our generous scholarships, and the many other types of assistance that are available.

We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver customized counseling for each family, as we recognize that no two families are the same. Affordability is top of mind for us—and we want you to know that our team is ready to guide each student through the maze of questions that often accompany financial planning and aid packages.
